The Valle d’Aosta wines aren’t always rewarded with the space they would deserve, indeed this region too hides enology specialities and denominations that are worth the best awards by the experts of the sector. Gewürztraminer is a wine variety which found a fertile ground in this region: aromatic and shaped for fresh clime, elements that Le Clocher di Charrère Danilo winery has succeed in exalting, creating a wine amazingly balanced and pleasant, GEWÜRZTRAMINER Vallée d’Aoste dop - LE CLOCHER of which we taste the 2013 vintage. The color is the typical yellow one with golden shades, both on the aromatic and tasting sides it shows a really impressive health for being a six years aged white wine without particular refinement process: the aromas of peach, flowers and aromatic herbs typical of the wine variety are well defined by never excessive, at the palate spices and mineral notes prevail, moreover the unaltered acidity, despite the manu years from the bottling, makes the wine still fresh and intense.

For the wine tasting space today is Rosso di Notri - Tua Rita moment, a Tuscan company which this year has celebrated its twenty-fifth production anniversary. Rosso di Notri is the introducing red wine to the winery, the more immediate, a Tuscan wine with elegant fruity aromas and an alcoholic hint, at the palate the fruity notes together with spices and herbs shades and a light tannin presence in the finale, which implies a certain aging potential

It is very uncommon to find a bond as strong as the one between the Tedeschi and the Valpolicella, four centuries in which the family itself, the territory and its enological parte had been growing together. The respect, the commitment, the choice of local varieties and the time dedicated to the development have made the Tedeschi wines the manifesto of the Valpolicella: power, elegance combined with great drinkability. As it is for the Amarone della Valpolicella DOC - Tedeschi, drunk during the Christmas lunch: perfumes of wood with a light vegetal part and mature red fruit. In the mouth you can immediately feel the importance of the structure, essential to sustain the 16% alcoholic volume, the typical bitter note of the denomination is as much present as pleasant, medical herbs flavors, all characteristics that make you feel the importance and the authenticity of this bottle.

The area of Bardolino was one of the first in the Northern Italy to be a reference point in the enology, already from the IX century under the Lombardic reign as a parchment of the 853 testifies. The secret of this zone is the geological cross of three different terroir (morenic, glacial and carbonated), whose combination, together with precise climatical characteristics, giving the Bardolino wines a strictly personal character. As it is for the Chiaretto Bardolino d.o.c. - Cavalchina by the wine cellar Cavalchina, typical Chiaretto wine of the area, pale pink colored with floral, aromatic herbs and almond aromas. At the palate it is perfectly balanced, round with a pleasant sapid finale.

The Catstelmagno has ancient origins, in fact it was already well known in the XI century as it was mentioned in some books or laws of that time. Castelmagno Of Mountain DOP - La Bruna is made from milk of cows who gaze in Alpine Hut over 1000m of height. The herbs of the Alpine Hut give the cheese an unique taste and colour. The result is a very seasoned cheese, so it's recommended to eat it at the end of the meal accompanied by different full bodied red wines like Nebbiolo o Barolo depending on the seasoning.
