A recipe from our colleague Fabrizio!
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 400 g Penne "Pastificio De Carolis"
- 100 g belly (Ventresca) of Tuna in olive oil "Sapori del Sud"
- 1 red onion
- Pickled in salt 1 tablespoon capers "Arconatura"
- 1 tablespoon olive paste "Campisi"
- 1 tsp tomato paste from cherry tomatoes "Casa Morana"
- salt from Trapani "Oro di Sicilia"
- Extra Virgin olive Oil 110 e lode "Oleificio Gulino"
Sauté the finely chopped onion for 15/20 minutes on a low flame. Add 1 tablespoon tomato paste, capers, olive paste and chunks of tuna.
Cook the penne for about 8 minutes, until al dente, drain and toss in the pan with the sauce.
