I bought this sparkling wine Barone Pizzini Satèn from OIP and I wanted to serve it with a dessert. But now I read your description of the wine and it's indicated as suitable to accompany the meal. Is this correct?

Yes, the description is correct. Satèn is suitable to accompany the whole meal, this doesn't exclude the dessert. If you compare a Saten with a Brut, the Saten is more round and soft on the palate. This is because the perlage is smaller and less tingly on the palate.
The Brut is suitable as appetizer or with desserts.
