The "Vigne del Malina" are born where two streams, the Malina and the Ellero, certainly not by chance, have drawn a goblet shape. An alluvial soil of unique characteristics and microclimate, ideal not for large quantities but for great quality. The right place to create wine, the way we like it. Our wines are born on an estate of 150 hectares, of which vines occupy only a limited part. Thus the vineyard, with a low ecological impact, breathes and enjoys biodiversity and continuous manual intervention by man, since we have excluded any herbicide. We are in an alluvial soil with a unique microclimate, characterized by a considerable temperature range and constant ventilation, due to the outflow of the pre-Alpine valleys. Vines have been cultivated in this land for centuries, as the fine Lombard Temple in nearby Cividale reminds us. The large 19th-century villa, which is at the center of the estate, stands on a complex of even older buildings of great historical and architectural value. Our values are founded on simplicity: good, clean and highly varied wines, to return to the origins, taste, aroma, structure and above all the particular character that distinguishes each grape variety. A simplicity that for many will be a great discovery. It is enough to walk between the rows, in any season of the year, to feel the calm breath of nature, together with the care and love of the hand of man.
