Roberto Voerzio Barolo Cerequio 1992: A Barolo DOCG from Piedmont, 100% Nebbiolo. Garnet red, ethereal bouquet of rose, tobacco, spices. Powerful, velvety, persistent taste. Excellent with red meats and aged cheeses.

Colour
Intense garnet red with orange reflections, typical of evolving Barolo wines.
Bouquet
Ethereal and complex bouquet: withered rose, liquorice, tobacco, spices, undergrowth. Balsamic and truffle notes.
Taste
Powerful, structured, velvety tannins. Great balance, very long persistence with hints of red fruit and spices.
Alcohol content
14% vol.
Type of glass
Large Burgundy or Grand Cru glass, to promote oxygenation and the expression of aromas.
Pairings
Important red meats, game, truffle, aged cheeses and mushroom-based dishes.
Refinement
Long aging in large barrels, followed by years in bottle. A 1992 is already very evolved.
Vinification
Traditional fermentation with long maceration, controlled temperature. Subsequent aging as per regulations.
18°C - 20°C. Decantation for at least 1-2 hours is recommended.
