Colour
Intense ruby red, with garnet reflections that deepen with aging.
Bouquet
Ethereal and complex bouquet, notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, violet, and tertiary hints of licorice and leather.
Taste
Dry, full-bodied, warm, and robust. Great structure with elegant tannins and a persistent, harmonious finish.
Alcohol content
13.5% - 14.5% vol.
Type of glass
Large red wine glass, Burgundy type, to enhance the aromas and complexity.
Pairings
Ideal with red meats, game, roasts, braised dishes, and aged cheeses.
Refinement
Minimum 36 months, of which at least 12 in large oak barrels, followed by a long bottle aging period.
Vinification
Traditional fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature, long maceration on the skins. Malolactic fermentation occurs naturally.
