The Scubla Colli Orientali del Friuli Rosso Scuro 2001 is a still Italian red wine. Produced in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, it's a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso. It shows an intense ruby red color that evolves into garnet. The nose offers complex aromas of mature red fruits, spices, forest floor, and leather. The taste is full-bodied, elegant, and persistent, with good tannins and a long finish. With an alcohol content of 13.5% vol., it's ideal with red meats and aged cheeses, served at 18°C - 20°C.
