Camunnorum or “wine of the Camuni” carries within itself the precious combination of ancient knowledge, typical of mountain areas, and modern cultivation techniques. Its strong character is due to the Merlot, Marzemino and Cabernet grapes of the best vineyards of the Camonica Valley, partly dried and then vinified with the traditional system. Aged for about 15 months in small oak barrels and for at least six months in the bottle, it has an intense ruby red color. The scent is fruity, sensations of cherry and berries, nuances of spices and vanilla given by the aging in oak barrels, make this wine pleasant to the nose, also giving the taste a well structured body of fine and long persistence tannins . Excellent with game dishes and with aged cheeses, it can enhance the typical cuisine of the Camonica Valley.
