This wine is produced 100% from the
Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) grapes of the
vineyards of the Chiuro and Teglio
areas and is extremely pure. It is the
pride of Valgella and is highly prized.
The colour of this wine is ruby-red
colour, its perfume is strong, characterized
by a strawberry and raspberry
bouquet; its flavour is dry, harmonious,
well balanced and persistent.
This is a high quality wine which
reaches its best after being stored for
many years in laid down bottles protected
from the light.
Excellent with pizzoccheri, bresaola,
white meat, game birds and mature
cheese.
