The Company Solo Sole was founded by the family Finocchiaro, who have always had a great passion for the Sicilian cuisine.
"May we introduce ourselves? I am Filippo. Together with my wife, Sandra, I have thrown myself into this adventure and founded the company SoloSole, which we both love.
Our approach to the product differs in any material respect to the ones of the other manufacturers: We never thought of the cost in selecting the ingredients, but take only raw materials that are the best choice for our final product: typical products from the region.
Take for example our Caponata: Each ingredient is cooked separately so each vegetable is cooked according its perfect cooking time. This extends production time and costs significantly, but the final product is therefore different in taste and far from an industrial product.
Just as the caponata we produce all our products only according to old and traditional recipes."
