Ingredients for 4 people:
- 200g minced pork
- 200g minced beef
- 2 eggs
- 40 g of dry bread
- 50 ml milk
- 1 clove of garlic
- 400 ml of tomato sauce from Pachino Cherry Tomatoes Campisi IGP
- 30 g grated Parmigiano
- flour
- parsley
- 1 shallot
- Extra virgin olive oil Castello dei Chiaramonte
- salt and pepper
Preparation:
Mix the meat with the dry bread soaked in milk. Add the eggs, garlic, chopped parsley and the grated Parmesan.
Season with salt and pepper. Form with your hands small meat balls and sprinkle them with flour.
Fry the meatballs in olive oil drain on a paper towel.
Peel the shallot, chop it and fry it some olive oil in a pan. Add the tomato sauce. Season with salt and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add the meatballs and simmer for another 10 minutes.
This sauce goes well with Tuffoli "Pastificio Mancini".
