The company Agrirape, after various experiments, managed to grow Sicilian rice, which was no more cultivated for nearly 100 years. Rice cultivation was once widespread in Sicily, but eventually was abandoned.
Now the Sicilian rice ist reborn.
This variety is perfect for risotto, and other typical Sicilian dishes such as Arancini.

I just discovered Sicilian rice! It's fantastic. My soon to be in laws will be over with my fiancé in a couple of days for dinner. Which wine would you recommend to accompany artichoke and anchovy risotto? It should go well to the delicate taste of artichokes and strong taste of anchovy.
