Verus Riesling is an exceptional dry white wine from the Slovenian region of Podravje. It presents a brilliant straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The aroma is intense, with notes of citrus (lime, grapefruit), white peach, and a distinct minerality. On the palate, it is fresh, vibrant, and well-balanced, with lively acidity and a long persistence. It has an alcohol content between 12.5% and 13.5% vol. Aged in stainless steel with a short period of fine lees contact, it is ideally served at 8-10°C in a tulip-shaped glass. Perfect with light appetizers, fish, seafood, and Asian cuisine.
