Colour
Intense ruby red, almost violet, with purple reflections. Viscous and brilliant, it reveals its depth and concentration even in the glass.
Bouquet
Complex and layered bouquet: red and black fruits, spices, floral notes (violet), minerals (graphite, flint) and a touch of black truffle. Great elegance and persistence.
Taste
On the palate it is powerful, structured and at the same time elegant. Fine and velvety tannins, vibrant acidity that gives freshness. Long, savory and mineral finish. Great depth.

13.5-14.5% vol.
Type of glass
Large red wine glass (Burgundy or Bordeaux style), to enhance the aroma and allow proper oxygenation.
Pairings
Ideal with roasted or grilled red meats, noble game (deer, wild boar), braised dishes, aged cheeses. Excellent also with black truffle-based dishes.
Refinement
12-18 months in French oak barrels (approx. 70% new), followed by a long period of bottle aging in the cellar.
Vinification
Fermentation in 225-500 liter French oak vats and stainless steel tanks. Use of indigenous yeasts, cold maceration and extended post-fermentation maceration.
