You have to keep the ham refrigerated. Once you open it, you have to cover the cut surface with cling film. The rest of the ham has to breathe, so you can cover it with a cloth. If the ham builds up mold, just wipe it with a damp cloth. You can keep it for about a month or even more, if you continue to consume it little by little.
