It all began with the cultivation of vines undertaken by great-grandfather Serafino at the beginning of the 20th century. Our history continued with the production and marketing of bulk wine until 1986; the year in which we began bottling in our winery, thus moving into the production and sale of bottles, completing the supply chain. Our entire family unit, consisting of dad Orazio, mom Loreta and brothers Stefano, Marco, Alberto and Mattia, has always been involved in the wine business. Orazio and Alberto, together with a team of agronomists, oversee the agricultural activities, all of which are manual, from the management of the greenery to the grape harvest; while Stefano and Marco, oenologists, take care of the winemaking in the winery's cellar. Our vineyards are spread over the most vocated hills and slopes of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG production area; they cover 34.5 hectares and are all owned. They are located in the province of Treviso in the municipalities of Saccol (Valdobbiadene), San Pietro di Feletto, Solighetto, Collalto and Farra di Soligo. The winery is based in Colbertaldo di Vidor. Among our vineyards, two are worthy of great attention. Each cluster is cared for on the vine, harvested by hand and accompanied on its way to the bottle. The development of sustainable viticulture has always been a ball of ours. That is why, together with universities and research centers, we have launched a mass selection project thanks to which we recover the best strains of our oldest vines to create the rootstocks for the new vineyards. It is a traditional method of reproduction that gives birth to healthy plants, perfectly adapted to our environment, therefore capable of guaranteeing a production of high quality and expressive of the characters of the territory.
