Colour
Intense amber with golden reflections, clear and bright.
Bouquet
Intense and complex, notes of dried fruit, almond, honey, vanilla and spicy hints.
Taste
Dry, warm, soft and persistent, with a typical slightly bitter aftertaste.
Alcohol content
18% Vol.
Type of glass
Tulip-shaped glass for meditation wines or Marsala.
Pairings
Savoury appetizers, aged cheeses, bottarga, smoked tuna, mushroom dishes. Excellent as an aperitif or meditation wine.
Refinement
At least 1 year in oak barrels. Marsala Fine minimum 1 year, Superiore minimum 2 years.
Vinification
Late harvest, soft pressing, controlled fermentation. Addition of wine alcohol and/or cooked must, barrel aging.
