Bertani Amarone 2001, a Veneto icon (Corvina Veronese, Rondinella), boasts intense garnet. Aromas of cherry, spices, tobacco. Palate is warm, enveloping, with soft tannins. Aged in oak, perfect with game or as a meditation wine, 18-20°C.

Intense garnet red with orange reflections.
Bouquet
Intense, complex: cherry in spirit, dried plum, spicy notes, cocoa, tobacco, leather, balsamic hints.
Taste
Full, enveloping, warm, velvety, with soft tannins and a persistent finish of ripe fruit and spices.
Alcohol content
15-15.5% vol.
Type of glass
Pairings
Game, important roasts, aged cheeses, truffle-based dishes. Meditation wine.
Refinement
6-7 years in large Slavonian oak barrels, then minimum 1 year in bottle.
Vinification
Grape drying for 3-4 months. Slow fermentation in steel, then aging in wood.
