Complex and enveloping. Notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, leather and tobacco, with balsamic and toasted nuances.

Structured, elegant and persistent. Fine, silky tannins, with a harmonious balance of freshness and softness. Long finish.

Large glass for structured red wines, preferably Bordeaux grand cru.
Pairings
Roasted game, fillet with green pepper, roasted lamb, aged cheeses, braised and stewed red meats.
Refinement
18 months in French oak barriques (70% new), followed by 12 months of further bottle aging.
Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature. Maceration for about 20-25 days on the skins. Malolactic fermentation in barriques.
