Intense ruby red with garnet reflections.
Bouquet
Complex notes of ripe red fruits, cherry in spirits, sweet spices, cocoa, tobacco, and balsamic hints.
Taste
Full-bodied, enveloping and warm, with velvety tannins and extraordinary persistence.
Alcohol content
15.5% vol.
Type of glass
Large glass type "Ballon" or "Gran Cru".
Pairings
Red meats, game, aged cheeses and structured dishes. Excellent as a meditation wine.
Refinement
Over 30 months in large oak barrels and then in the bottle.
Vinification
Grape drying for 3-4 months, fermentation in steel, then aging in wood.
