Manufacturer: Scriani
Amarone is the most famous wine of Valpolicella, and one of the great Italian red wines, whose fame goes far beyond national borders; it is produced with grapes left to dry on racks called 'arelle', in order to increase the sugar content and aromas. Scriani classic amarone has a deep ruby red color tending towards garnet; on the nose the aromas of red fruits are distinct and clean, on the palate it offers flavors of vanilla, spices, licorice and bitter almonds. Great meditation wine but not only, it goes well at the table and in company, and goes well with rich meat dishes, savory meats and aged cheeses.
