Exposure: East-West
Planting year: 2003 - 2013
Soil type: Medium-textured soils - clayey rich in skeleton
Training system: Guyot
Plant density: 5,600 plants / ha
Grape yield per hectare: no more than 80q.li/ha
Vinification and Aging: The grape harvest is scalar in
depending on the maturation of each single parcel of vineyard.
Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes are carefully vinified
individually for each different batch of origin; they follow
pumping over and punching down to adjust the perfect extraction of the
polyphenolic components. Once fermentation is complete, the wines rest
in barriques for a period of about 18 months. Subsequently,
after careful tasting, the blend of the different ones is carried out
lots. Finally, the wine is bottled and aged for at least 6 months in the bottle.
