Intense ruby red with violet and garnet reflections.
Bouquet
Ripe red fruits, brandied cherry, notes of sweet spices and vanilla.
Taste
Full-bodied, soft, velvety, with elegant tannins and a persistent finish of berries and spices.

13.5% vol.
Type of glass
Large red wine glass, Bordeaux type.
Pairings
Excellent with grilled red meats, roasts, game, and aged cheeses.
Refinement
18 months in Slavonian and Allier oak barrels, plus 3 months in bottle.
Vinification
Refermentation on pomace of partially dried grapes using the Masi "double fermentation" method.
