Intense, brilliant golden yellow with amber reflections.
Bouquet
Intense and complex, with notes of walnuts, almonds, curry, exotic spices, quince, and candied citrus fruits.
Taste
Full-bodied, powerful, with great structure and persistence. Vibrant acidity, salinity, and a long, mineral finish.
Alcohol content
13.5%
Type of glass
Large glass for structured white wine, like Burgundy glass.
Pairings
Aged cheeses (Comté), chicken with mushrooms, light curries, terrines, noble baked fish.
Refinement
In oak barrels, often under a veil of yeasts (flor) which gives it its “typé” character.

Manual harvest, soft pressing, spontaneous fermentation in oak barrels. Extended aging.
