Colour
Intense ruby red with deep garnet reflections.
Bouquet
Broad, complex: dried red fruit (sour cherry, plum), sweet spices, cocoa, tobacco, balsamic hints.
Taste
Powerful, enveloping, excellent structure, warm, soft. Elegant tannins, long, persistent finish with echoes of ripe fruit and spices.
Alcohol content
15.5% Vol.
Type of glass
Large glass, such as Bordeaux Grand Cru or specific Amarone glass. Allows proper oxygenation and aroma appreciation.
Pairings
Important red meats, game (wild boar, deer), aged cheeses. Also excellent as a meditation wine.
Refinement
Min. 24 months in oak barrels, followed by prolonged bottle aging that refines its complexity and harmony.
Vinification
Grapes dried for 3-4 months on racks. Soft pressing, slow fermentation at controlled temperature.
18–20°C. Decant for at least one hour before serving to enhance aromas.
