Elvio Cogno's Barolo Cascina Nuova 2020, from pure Nebbiolo, is a sublime expression of Piedmont. Garnet red, it offers a complex bouquet of rose, liquorice, and undergrowth. On the palate, it's powerful yet refined, with elegant tannins and a long finish. Excellent with roasts and aged cheeses. Barrel-aged, serve at 16-18°C.
