Marzemino Trentino doc

The typical growing area is in the Vallagarina, on the valley floor where
soils are alluvial and rich in gravel, to the lower hillsides with clay
where soils are often morainal.
GRAPE VARIETY
100% Marzemina Gentile introduced into Trentino by Venetian troops
around the year 1400. It performs best in the valley floor and the lower
hillsides on clay. The growing area is very small and unique, close to our
company’s headquarters.
WINEMAKING
Fermentation on the skins is brief and after the malolactic
fermentation the wine is matured in stainless steel until bottling in
early spring.

Alcohol 12,5 - 13% vol.
Acidity 5 g/l.
DESCRIPTION
Ruby with violet reflections. Delicate floral and fruit aromas merge to
form a very individual and characteristic bouquet. It is mild on the
palate especially when grown on basaltic soils, medium bodied, low in
tannin and harmonious.
GOES WELL WITH
A very easy-drinking wine, it is best enjoyed at room temperature and
goes well with a wide range of foods, preferably not served so if served
with piquant sauces. It improves after a brief period in bottle, but is not
a wine for prolonged cellaring, as it would lose its fresh and fruity
character.
