Deep ruby red with garnet reflections. Age lends it a more evolved, deep hue, typical of a mature wine of great character and visual complexity.

Complex and enveloping. Notes of ripe red fruits, kirsch, sweet spices, tobacco, undergrowth, and hints of leather. Well-integrated tertiary aromas.
