This product is made from pears, which are supplied by the farms that are cooperating with us. Our company is located so high up above sea level that no pear trees thrive here. The pears are peeled and cooked slowly. During the long cooking time we add cane sugar and cinnamon. This is how we produce a delicious pear and cinnamon sauce.

This compote goes well with different dishes: Ideal for the preparation of cakes or fillings or as a sauce for ice cream. Fits well with a cheese platter with seasoned goat cheese or fresh hard cheeses.
