Matassa Rouge is a natural red wine from Roussillon, France. Made with Grenache Noir and Mourvèdre, it has a vibrant ruby red color. The nose offers aromas of fresh red fruits, Mediterranean herbs, and delicate spices. On the palate, it is fresh, juicy, and elegant, with soft tannins, excellent acidity, and mineral persistence. Ideal for cured meats, grilled vegetables, and poultry, it is served between 14-16°C. Winemaking involves spontaneous fermentation and aging in steel or concrete.
