This KWV Classic Collection Shiraz is a South African red from Western Cape (14% Vol.). Deep ruby red, it offers aromas of black pepper, blackberry, and plum. Rich on the palate with firm tannins. Great with red meats, served at 16-18℃.

Pairings

Excellent with grilled red meats, game, rich stews, mature cheeses, and robust pasta dishes.

Refinement

Part of the wine ages in French and American oak barrels for 8-12 months, followed by further months in the bottle.

Vinification

Grapes destemmed and crushed, fermentation in stainless steel, then malolactic fermentation and oak aging.
