Deep amber with golden reflections
Bouquet
Intense notes of candied fruit, honey, dried apricot, vanilla, and sweet spices, with a floral and woody touch.
Taste
Smooth and enveloping, with a balance between sweetness and complexity, persistent finish with hints of exotic fruit and toasted oak.
Alcohol content
40% vol.
Type of glass
Cognac snifter or tulip glass
Pairings
Chocolate-based desserts, aged cheeses, foie gras, or as a meditative digestif. Also perfect with a cigar.
Refinement
Aged for years in French oak barrels, followed by a finish in barrels that previously contained Pacherenc wine.
Vinification
Double distillation of Ugni Blanc white wine in copper stills, followed by aging and finishing.
