Chocolate as we know it in Italy, with the exception of Modica chocolate, is the prerogative of Piedmont, a region with a great school of chocolate making. Gardini comes from Romagna as an outsider, a company that brings a different approach to chocolate, treating it territorially. In concrete terms, this translates into the combination of typical local ingredients with chocolate, first and foremost the sweet salt from Cervia that perfectly matches the sweetness of chocolate, a combination that entices one to taste again without ever tiring.
