Dal Forno Amarone 1990, from Veneto, is a DOC with Corvina and Oseleta. Intense garnet red, offering complex aromas of ripe red fruit and spices. On the palate, it's powerful, velvety, and harmonious, with a long finish. Aged in barriques, serve at 18-20°C.
Intense garnet red with orange reflections, deep and impenetrable, indicating great structure and long evolution, typical of great vintage and prolonged aging wines.
Bouquet
Broad and complex, with notes of ripe red fruit (sour cherry, plum), sweet spices, tobacco, liquorice, dark chocolate, coffee, and balsamic hints. Evolved and layered.
Taste
Powerful yet elegant, velvety and harmonious. Soft entry, with returns of spirits-soaked fruit, cocoa, and spices. Fine tannins and a very long aromatic persistence. Majestic structure.

16.5% vol.
Type of glass
Large tasting glass, such as a “Bordeaux Grande” or “Barolo”, to allow the wine to express all its aromatic complexity. Serve decanted.
Pairings
Ideal with important red meats, feathered and furred game, braised dishes, aged cheeses. It is also a superb meditation wine, perfect after a meal.
Refinement
Long aging in new French oak barriques for at least 24 months, followed by further bottle aging for several years before release.
Vinification
The best grapes are selected and air-dried for 3-4 months in a drying loft (fruttaio). Then pressing, slow fermentation at controlled temperature, and long maceration on the skins.
