Intense and complex, with notes of withered rose, violet, liquorice, spices, truffle, leather, and undergrowth.

Taste

Dry, warm, full-bodied and robust, with elegant tannins and a long persistence. Excellent structure, spicy and fruity notes.

Large Barolo/Nebbiolo glass, "Bordeaux grande" type.

Pairings

Roasted and braised red meats, game, aged cheeses, white truffle, mushroom-based dishes.

Refinement

Long aging in large oak barrels and in bottle for years.
