Bouquet
Intense, complex, fruity (ripe red fruits, cherry in spirits), spicy (black pepper, tobacco, cocoa, vanilla).
Taste
Warm, powerful, velvety, persistent, with soft tannins and an aftertaste of ripe fruit and spices.
Alcohol content
15.5% Vol.
Type of glass
Large red wine glass (e.g., "Bordeaux Grand" or "Amarone").
Pairings
Grilled/roasted red meats, game, aged cheeses, rich pasta dishes. Also excellent as a meditation wine.
