Il Carpino's Rosso Carpino 2003 is a still dry red wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia. Made from Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and other native grapes, it offers a ruby-garnet color. Complex aromas of wild berries, spices, and tobacco. On the palate, it is warm, velvety, with elegant tannins and a persistent finish. Aged in oak barrels, it's ideal with red meats and aged cheeses.
