The Giovanni Canonica Barolo Paiagallo 2018, from Italy’s Piedmont region, is a magnificent Barolo DOCG. Crafted from 100% Nebbiolo, it displays an intense garnet red hue. Its complex bouquet reveals withered rose, violet, liquorice, and earthy notes. On the palate, it’s austere, powerful, with elegant tannins and a long mineral finish. Aged traditionally in large oak barrels, it's perfect with rich red meats and aged cheeses, served at 18-20°C.
