The Sassella Valtellina Superiore Riserva 'la Priora' by Caven is a DOCG red from Lombardy. Made from Nebbiolo grapes, it has an intense ruby color, ethereal aromas of violet and forest fruits. On the palate, it is dry, warm, robust with elegant tannins and a long finish. Aged in oak and bottle, it is ideal with red meats and aged cheeses, served at 16-18°C.
