The Castello Banfi Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Poggio all'Oro 1993 is a still, dry red wine, a pure expression of Sangiovese Grosso from Tuscany. It displays an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose is broad and ethereal, with notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, leather, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied, elegant, and structured, with silky tannins and a long finish. Excellent with red meats and aged cheeses, served at 18-20℃.
