The aroma convinces with notes of fine plums and elder fruit, discreet vanilla and slight roasting flavours with lavish maturity. It is ripe on the palate in the very classic mode, almost Bordelaiser style, with discreet approvals of red peppers with soft peppery seasoning with strength and fullness.
