Kaltern - Preyhof: 550 m above sea-level, has calcareous soil, constituted with porphyry gravel and more reddish Gardena Valley sandstone sand mix with lime content.

Characteristics:
This wine displays a beautiful, pale yellow colour with greenish reflexes. Intensive roasting flavours of newly toasted bread and freshly ground coffee tempt the nose. Citric and russet flavours appear in the background. It powerfully and lavishly presents itself to a well tied, fresh acidity as well as a good structure on the palate. The finale lingers with fruit and roasting flavours. The wine offers a pleasant glaze as well as a breath of brioche.
