Taste

Full-bodied, enveloping, well-integrated peat, sweet malt, ripe fruit, white pepper and saline notes. Long finish.

Approx. 45-55% vol. (Often cask strength)

Glencairn, tulip glass or tumbler (with ice if preferred).

Pairings

Meditation, 80% dark chocolate, fine cigars, blue and aged cheeses.

Refinement

In oak casks, often ex-Bourbon and sometimes ex-Sherry or other finishes. Distillation 2002.

Vinification

Distillation in traditional copper pot stills. Long maturation in selected casks.
