Ingredients:
- Florentine steak - Macelleria Davide Balestri
- Extra Virgin olive Oil "Podere Spazzavento"
- salt from Trapani "Oro di Sicilia"
- pepper
The "Bistecca alla Fiorentina" or Florentine steak is grilled in a grill pan or directly over the fire.
Of course you get the best taste preparing it over the fire.
The cooking time is 4 minutes in the vertical, while the bone rests on the grate.
Then the meat is grilled on each side for 3 minutes each.
Season the grilled side with salt and pepper. Repeat with the second side.
Cut into slices and season with a little Tuscan olive oil from Podere Spazzavento.
