Ingredients:
- 2 untreated oranges Fioroni Ribera
- sugar
- water
Peel the oranges and cut the peel into 1/2 inch stripes. Put them in a saucepan and cover with water. Boil the orange peel briefly and then drain. Cover the orange peel again with water and cook until they are soft (usually two cooking processes).
Weigh the peel. For the syrup take the same weight of sugar and water as the oranges.
Put the peels with the water and the sugar in the pot and cook over low heat until the peels have absorbed the syrup.
Place the orange peel on a grate and let them dry. Once the orange peels are lukewarm, sprinkle with sugar.
Dry for 24 hours and then store in a closed jar.
