The Yarden Viognier features aromatic notes of flowers, apricot, peach, green plum and green apple, interspersed with hints of French oak. Medium bodied and fresh acidity, this wine is elegantly drinkable. Yarden Viognier should age well for a few years from harvest. We love to serve the wine with mild chicken curry with mango, ginger glazed halibut, or caramelized leek quiche.
Yarden Viognier is made solely from Viognier fruit harvested from vineyards in the cold north of the Golan Heights. 50% of the wine ferments in French oak barrels and is aged for four months.
