The Jacques Busin Champagne Extra-brut “Marthe Deligny” Verzenay Grand Cru is a refined Classic Method sparkling wine from the prestigious Champagne region, France. Produced exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes from Verzenay Grand Cru, it presents a bright straw yellow color and a persistent perlage. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of red fruits, citrus, flowers, and mineral notes. On the palate, it is fresh, vibrant, with splendid minerality and a long finish. Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with seafood and crustaceans, served at 8-10 °C. An elegant wine, resulting from at least 4-5 years of aging on lees and careful winemaking.

Colour
Bright straw yellow with golden reflections, fine and persistent perlage.
Bouquet
Complex and refined, notes of red fruits (cherry, raspberry), citrus, white flowers, bread crust, and subtle mineral and toasted nuances.
Taste
Fresh, vibrant, and elegant. Great minerality with a long, persistent finish, characterized by savoriness and delicate notes of red fruit and citrus. Balanced structure and excellent finesse.

12.5% Vol.
Type of glass
Flute or, preferably, tulip-shaped Champagne glass.
Pairings
Excellent as an aperitif, with seafood, oysters, sushi, raw fish, crustaceans, and soft cheeses. Also pairs well with delicate white meats.
Refinement
At least 4-5 years on lees in bottle, then a short rest post-disgorgement.
Vinification
Manual harvest, gentle pressing, fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation partially or fully performed. Second fermentation in bottle (Traditional Method). Extra-brut dosage.
