It’s a wine that makes elegance its strong point.
In the glass is a deep ruby color, very bright, to the nose there are spicy notes, but never such as to cover a wide and variegated floral base.
Representing the fifth generation of winegrowers, François Bertheau took over the family estate in 2004. Like the great winemakers of Burgundy, he loves to keep a reserved profile and prefers to express himself with his wines, wonderful nectars of legendary denominations, which you know well: Chambolle-Musigny or even Bonnes-Marres.
It is a wine with ephemeral and varied flavors.
The Chambolle of Francois is a classic school wine, super traditional in search of the definition of the terroir.
