From a small plot of 0.25 hectares in Corton, Domaine Bertagna produces its Corton Charlemagne.
Vinification: slow and delicate pressing. Alcoholic fermentation in wooden barrels. Regular kneading of the lees until the end of fermentation.
Ageing: in 30% of new barrels with a duration of 15 to 18 months, it is ready to be put on the market.
Tasting notes: Straw yellow color with golden reflections. The nose is concentrated with floral hints, acacia flowers throughout and fruity with notes of pear. On the palate it is broad and elegant with a very balanced minerality and a return of fruity aromas. Excellent freshness and persistence.
Pairing: Ideal to accompany important fish and shellfish dishes.
