Thank you for your reply, and for the photo of the nutrition panel, which indicates that the salt content is 0.25%. My question was prompted by the locally-produced nutrition panel on the cans sold in Australia, which indicates that the sodium content is 2.4% (2400 mg per 100 g), which equates to a salt content of about 6.0%. This looked too high, and probably wrong.
